Food Models

Want a fun way to convey the serving sizes and nutrients per serving for commonly enjoyed foods? Use these 200 life-sized food images!

They are the ideal tool to teach nutrition! Simply print and cut out the images.  Laminate them for durability and you can use them for nutrition activities, games, bulletin boards, and More! Be sure to check out the handy Food Models Leader Guide which offers lots of great application ideas.

Fueling Head to Toe has activities for Kindergarten – 8th grade

Check out this resource that teaches students the importance of a healthy lifestyle, one that includes regular physical activity and proper nutrition. Grounded in the principals of MyPlate, students will learn the importance of choosing foods from all five food groups every day, how the dairy group’s unique nutrient package helps build strong bodies, and how dairy farmers from our region produce wholesome milk that travels from farm to fridge in two days. Girl Scouts that complete the program can earn free patches.
