What’s it like to be a state ambassador? We’re rolling out the red carpet to introduce you to our five Fuel Up to Play 60 State Ambassadors throughout New England. Check out Bree!
My experience at the Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador Summit was amazing! There were so many great and inspirational activities to attend. For example, I went to Enchanted Dairy, a dairy farm in Minnesota. I learned about the different foods they feed the cows, the machines the farmers use to gather crop, and how to take care of the calves. I learned so much from this field trip and I can always look at milk and say thank you to the farmers who worked very hard to get the milk for us.
Another great experience I had was meeting new people from all different states! They had so many interesting things to share about themselves so all of us got along right from the start. I also managed to get a few of their numbers so I can still stay in touch with them!
Lastly, I loved the extravaganza. There were so many fun activities to do, not to mention meeting NFL players and running through the Viking Ship. There were activities like an inflatable obstacle course, giant bean bag tosses, field goal kicking, and even snowball fights!
I hope to encourage kids to become a State Ambassador, too, by teaching them to cooperate with the rest of the Fuel Up to Play 60 club. I feel like they all have the potential to do their best to make a difference.
Overall my whole experience at the National Summit was an amazing experience for me. I plan to bring back all of what I learned and share it with my school to make it a better place!
